Summer body vibes day with me, myself and I 29 / 56

A month has passed so it is time for a new blog about my summer body. I have to say that going to the gym is a thing I do often. But the food is more the point. I installed an app “MyFitnessPal” which tells you everything about the calories you take. And I take way to much, my food is not unhealthy, but it has too many calories. For example, a banana has 124 Kcal in it, which is a lot.

So I take too many calories, but what am I eating? Every morning I eat a bowl of oats, made of 1 smashed banana, 250 ml Alpro soya milk (I love it with coconut and almonds the most) 40 to 50 grams of oats and as topping maple syrup with cinnamon or kiwi or when I am in a chocolate mood, I eat it with some really dark chocolate (picture above is the chocolate version). As lunch, I eat always two slices of bread with chicken because chicken is skinny meat. Or I use some of my homemade vegan chocolate hummus (read down how I make this). And in the evening I eat just normal evening food. As a snack, I eat way too many maria biscuits, so that’s maybe my problem.

Chocolate hummus

180 grams of chickpeas
1 tablespoon of raw cacao
1 teaspoon of agave syrup
4 Medjoul dates
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon coconut oil
15o ml of coconut milk

How to:

1. Leak the chickpeas
2. Cut the dates in 2 parts, remove the seeds and put it in hot water for like 15 minutes
3. Mix all the ingredients together with a kitchen machine. Tip, don’t put all the milk in it at the same time.

Summer body in gym

 Of course, I have to go the gym for my summer body. Food is one part, but sports are the other part. In the gym, I do a combination of abs and cardio. Because it is not good to only focus on one. Mostly in the gym, I do abs because when I have a hockey match or training I am running. And that is also cardio. The kind of exercises I do are 30 x 3 lunges with 5 kilos. 10 x 3 Glute Bridge also with 5 kilos. 100 x 3 further kicks. Planking on the song Flower by moby (see the video down for the details). 100  x 3 Jumping Jacks. 100 x 3 Russian Twists with 5 kilos. Next, to that, I also use fitness equipment.

 My goal for next month

I want my abs to be more visible, so if you don’t know where I am, come to the gym and maybe you see me there. I can only reach my goal by spending much time in the gym so that’s what I am going to do.
